INC.' <br />City of Hugo July 13, 2017 <br />Hugo Fire Station Page 5 <br />5323 1401h Street North, Hugo, MN RSI Proposal #P17-12595-02 & 03 <br />CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION/OBSERVATION <br />Construction administration services begin once the bid has been awarded. At this time, a pre - <br />construction meeting is conducted to familiarize all team members with their respective roles and any <br />additional concerns the Owner may have. Scheduling, clean-up, invoicing and permits are also discussed <br />to ensure they are secured and followed. <br />Throughout the entire project, the Quality Assurance Observer conducts periodic observations to <br />document whether the work is proceeding according to the contract documents. The Quality Assurance <br />Observer acts as the Owner's liaison to the contractor to field any questions, address proposed additions <br />and/or deletions to the contract, and obtain resolutions to any problems which may be encountered. <br />The primary objectives for such observations are to document: <br />• quality of workmanship <br />• use of proper installation techniques <br />• conformance to specifications <br />• proper material storage <br />• adequate manpower and progress <br />• proper daily clean-up <br />Written reports are provided to the owner summarizing the daily activities, and any situations <br />encountered throughout the project. Photographic illustrations of the construction process are included <br />as part of the reports. <br />
