Adjacent to the Ravine Regional Park,this state of the art <br /> facility will house a WIC Clinic and other public health services, commu- <br /> nity corrections offices and a service desk for other county functions and <br /> programs. Occupancy took place in April, 2007. <br /> South • •n County Service Center <br /> The pace of new housing construction dropped to 1997 to 2001 levels at 185 new homes reflecting both a national and Twin Cities <br /> decline in construction activity. However,the per unit value of new housing stock increased 32%over the prior year. It is estimated <br /> that the sales value of new single family detached housing stock for the year hit an average of$400,000 while attached housing <br /> construction likely averaged$250,000 in per unit sales price. <br /> In 2006 the City approved two rural residential <br /> (Quittem and Lehigh Acres)and two urban plats <br /> •..a.. ,�d, �,_,,,,�,,_„ (Pine Acres 3`', Silverwood, both within the <br /> ��••^^�° NAeNwAlrw northeastern portion of the West Draw). Prelimi- <br /> nary Plats were approved for the Oak Cove and <br /> Everwood Subdivisions. These subdivisions are <br /> -: in the southern most portion of the West Draw at <br /> #'! 4 the entrance to the Gateway Commercial District. <br /> In 2006 the City also completed the three-year <br /> b 44. Completion of this <br /> �. study,the corresponding Alternative Urban Are- <br /> ` awide Review, and Comprehensive Plan amend- <br /> ment prepares the City to open the exciting 4000 <br /> acre East Ravine Neighborhood.
