Denaway made a motion, Granger seconded, to recommend to the City Council to continue <br /> to make a donation of$500.00 to Hugo Kidz n' Biz Fest. <br /> All aye. Motion carried. <br /> UPDATE ON DOWNTOWN REDEVELOPMENT <br /> Staff updated the EDA on the progress of the downtown redevelopment in Hugo. <br /> CD Director stated that the "End Zone" site developers have submitted a site plan <br /> application. The project includes a 21,000 square foot retail building. The TIF application <br /> will be submitted in March 2008. <br /> Granger stated that since we are getting an application the EDA should talk about the <br /> certification of the TIF district. <br /> SITE VISIT TO INDUSTRIAL PAINTING SPECIALISTS <br /> Industrial Painting Specialists was founded in 1992. They have a state-of-the-art 40,000- <br /> square-foot facility located at 5858 152nd Street in Hugo. They apply all wet-coatings <br /> systems using airless and conventional spray equipment. Their lifting equipment includes <br /> three, 10-ton overhead bridge cranes. They have done painting for Caterpillar, 3M, Par <br /> Nuclear, Boeing and even painted the 1996 Olympic Tower in their shop. <br /> The EDA was given a tour of Industrial Painting hosted by Gary Papermaster, Vice President <br /> of the company. <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> Denaway made motion, Klein seconded to adjourn the meeting at 11:00 am <br /> All aye. Motion carried. <br />
