1 <br /> 8. HUGO KIDS & BIZ FEST <br /> City Administrator Mike Ericson will provide the EDA with an overview of the <br /> successful Kids &Biz fest which was held on April 17, 2005. City staff requests <br /> input from the EDA for future activities that could be jointly sponsored by the EDA <br /> and the HBA. <br /> 9. DISCUSSION OF MARKETING PLAN <br /> Former intern Tom Denaway and CD Director Bryan Bear met with Teresa <br /> Charpentier and Phil Klein to discuss a marketing program including a website <br /> update, entry signs, business receptions,business cards,brochures, and development <br /> plans. Committee members and City staff will discuss with the EDA the next steps <br /> for implementation of a marketing plan. <br /> 10. DISCUSSION OF WEB SITE UPDATE <br /> Theresa Charpentier has forwarded to the staff suggestions for updating the City's <br /> website relating to EDA efforts. Staff seeks input from the EDA related to the <br /> website. So far, the website contains basic information related to EDA members, <br /> agendas and minutes. The RFP for the Bald Eagle Industrial Park is also located on <br /> the website. <br /> 11. EAST METRO ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FORUM ON JUNE 16, <br /> 2005 <br /> Sponsored by the Washington County Workforce Investment Board, the forum will <br /> provide an opportunity to share ideas with other Economic Development officials. At <br /> the forum, Hugo is invited to share a report on recent activities of the EDA. Staff <br /> would like to gather ideas for this report from EDA members prior to the forum <br />
