The <br />cost of this truck is as expected, and staff has budgeted appropriately for the replacement. <br />Staff recommends that Council authorize the purchase of the 3/4 ton Chevrolet through the State <br />of Minnesota Cooperative Purchasing Venture for a price of $28,813.86 plus tax and licensing. <br />G.10 Approve the replacement of Public Works Vehicle 112-06 <br />Included in the City's 2017 Budget is funding for the purchase of 3/4 ton pickup truck to replace <br />the department's aging 2007 Chevrolet 25001-11). Truck 102-07 has served the City well over the <br />past 11 years. This truck is used each and every day. If we continue to use this truck at the <br />current level we can expect the repairs to increase in frequency and severity, which adds support <br />to the City's 10 year replacement practice. Staff has worked diligently to research and specify <br />the appropriate truck to meet the needs of the Public Works Department. Staff recommends <br />purchasing a 2018 Chevrolet pickup truck from Ranger Chevrolet located in Hibbing, MN. This <br />truck will be purchased off a Mn/DOT contract through the Cooperative Purchasing Venture <br />(CPV) assuring the City of a fair and discounted price of $28,813.86 plus tax and licensing. The <br />cost of this truck is as expected, and staff has budgeted appropriately for the replacement. <br />Staff recommends that Council authorize the purchase of the 3/4 ton Chevrolet through the State <br />of Minnesota Cooperative Purchasing Venture for a price of $28,203.26 plus tax and licensing. <br />G.11 Approve Resolution Adopting the Everton Avenue AUAR Update <br />In January, 2002, the Council adopted the Everton Avenue Neighborhood Final Alternative <br />Urban Areawide Review (AUAR) as part of the Everton Avenue Neighborhood Study. <br />Minnesota Rules 4410.3610, Subd. 7, requires the document to be reviewed and updated every <br />five years until all development in the study area has received final approval. At its July 17, <br />2017, meeting the Council authorized staff to update the AUAR and provide for agency review. <br />All required agencies have commented and no revisions are required. Staff recommends Council <br />approve the resolution adopting the Everton Avenue AUAR update. <br />G.12 Approve Resolution Approving Adelaide Landing Final Plat and Development <br />Agreement <br />The Excelsior Group is requesting approval of a final plat in order to plat 81 lots and 6 outlots on <br />a 216 acre parcel located east of Highway 61 and north of 130th Street. The site is currently <br />vacant. The City Council approved the preliminary plat and PUD for Adelaide Landing at its <br />May 1, 2017 meeting. The final plat will plat 81 lots from the Adelaide Landing preliminary plat. <br />The lots meet the minimum lot standards and requirements outlined in the regulations for the <br />Adelaide Landing PUD. Staff recommends approval the resolution approving the Final Plat and <br />Development Agreement for Adelaide Landing. <br />H.1 Public Hearing on Assessments for North Sunset Lake Street Improvement Project <br />At its September 5, 2017 meeting, the Council adopted the resolution declaring costs to be <br />assessed for the North Sunset Lake Area Street Improvement Project and scheduled the hearing <br />on the proposed assessments for this evening. The Mayor will open the public hearing to take all <br />comments. Staff recommends Council approve the resolution adopting the assessments for the <br />North Sunset Lake Area Street Improvement Project. <br />
