The school <br /> board had a lot of decisions to make, and she did not have a lot of contacts in the district. She <br /> stated that 14 groups had contributed for the purchase of the playground equipment, and they had <br /> to go up for auction to sell. Weidt asked her to keep the City informed on issues and encouraged <br /> her to call when in doubt. <br /> Approval of the Consent Agenda <br /> Miron made motion, Klein seconded, to approve the following Consent Agenda items: <br /> 1. Approval of Claims <br /> 2. Approve Extension for O'Reilly Auto Parts Site Plan and Variances <br /> 3. Approve Special Event Permit for Blacksmith Lounge for 2018 Events <br /> 4. Approve Renewal of 2 a.m. License for Sal's Angus Grill <br /> 5. Approve Wetland Replacement Plan for Roy Molitor 2nd Addition for Schwieters <br /> All Ayes. Motion carried. <br /> Approval of Claims <br /> Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the Claims Roster as presented. <br /> Approve Extension for O'Reilly Auto Parts Site Plan and Variances <br /> At its February 2, 2015, meeting, the City Council approved the site plan and four variances for a <br /> 7,000 square foot auto parts store submitted by O'Reilly Auto Enterprises, LLC. Approval for site <br /> plans expire one year after City Council approval if a building permit is not approved and <br /> construction has not started on the building. The applicant did not construct the building. The <br /> applicant had requested an extension of the site plan and variance approvals. Adoption of the <br /> Consent Agenda approved the extension of the site plan and variance, subject to all conditions <br /> listed in the approving resolutions. <br /> Approve Special Event Permit for Blacksmith Lounge for 2018 Events <br /> The Blacksmith Lounge had applied for a Special Event Permit for events to be held during 2018. <br /> There would be a total of 14 events hosted on their property between April and October. Events <br /> include seven auctions, five car shows, one swap meet, and one corn feed sponsored by the White <br /> Bear Lake Hockey Association. These events had been occurring for several years including the <br /> largest event, the Northern Lights Car Show, for 30 years. All of the events would be outdoors. <br /> City Council approval was required because they will be serving alcohol, over 250 people were <br /> expected during some events, and an amplified speaker system would be used. Adoption of the <br /> Consent Agenda approved the Special Event Permit for the Blacksmith Lounge for 2018. <br /> Approve Renewal of 2 a.m. License for Sal's Angus Grill <br /> Since May 2010, Sal's Angus Grill had held a license that permits the establishment to stay open <br />
