BACKGROUND <br />Special Event Permit <br />Memorandum <br />A Special Event Permit application has been submitted by David Streitz on behalf of New <br />Life Church to hold outdoor events on Sunday, June 10th and Sunday October 70' on their <br />property at 6000 148t1i Street North. A Special Event Permit is required for the amplified <br />system. <br />2. DESCRIPTION OF EVENT <br />The June 10, 2018, event will be a free outdoor service held from 9-10:30 a.m. followed <br />by a picnic from 12:00-4:00 p.m. Approximately 100 people are expected to attend. The <br />event will include a potluck and games. Amplified sound will be used for the service and <br />possibly for games during the picnic. There may also be a few small canopy tents set up <br />for the event. <br />The October 7, 2018, event will be a free outdoor gathering from 3-5:30 p.m. that will <br />include a potluck, hayrides, outdoor games, and possibly an inflatable bounce tent. There <br />may also be a few small canopy tents set up for the event. <br />3. CONDITIONS <br />The applicant has provided the City the completed permit, signed Hold Harmless <br />Agreement, and permit and rental fees. In accordance with this permit, the applicant shall <br />conduct the event as described on their application and herein in addition to the following <br />conditions. <br />Prior to the Event <br />1. All tents, stages, and inflatables will be installed per manufacturer's instructions. <br />During the Event <br />2. No alcohol will be served or fees collected at either of these events. <br />
