Tough Mudder Twin Cities 2018 Event Operations Plan <br />INTRODUCTION <br />Tough Mudder is a 10-12 mile course featuring 20+ military style obstacles designed to test <br />participants' all around strength, stamina, and mental grit. Tough Mudder is not a timed race - we <br />stress the importance of camaraderie and teamwork, encouraging everyone to help each other <br />complete all obstacles and finish the course. <br />Our events have been taking place since 2010 in the United States. In 2016, Tough Mudder held <br />over 60 events throughout the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, Mexico and <br />Asia. The number of events and locations will continue to grow in 2017. To date, Tough Mudder is <br />proud to have helped raise over $12 million dollars for charities around the world. <br />In 2016, we introduced Tough Mudder Half, which will be happening concurrently with the Tough <br />Mudder event. In 2018, we introduced Tough Mudder 5K, which will also be happening <br />concurrently with the Full and Half formats. Tough Mudder Half and 5K course paths will share a <br />portion of the 10 mile course and obstacles, but only cover 3.5 - 5 miles of distance.
