Tough Mudder Twin Cities 2018 Event Operations Plan <br />COURSE <br />The following table provides a summary of the average course for Tough Mudder: <br />Length 10-11 Miles (5 Mile <br />Obstacles Features 22 <br />Water Stations 5 <br />Estimated Completion Time First finisher expected to take 1 hour 45 min <br />Average finisher expected to take 3.5 hours <br />Slowest finisher expected to take up to 6 hours <br />*A full course map and obstacle list has been provided separately <br />MUDDER VILLAGE AND SERVICES <br />The area in which participants start and finish the course is referred to as "Mudder Village." This <br />area is also where a range of services will be available to all patrons throughout the event weekend. <br />The following table provides a summary of the key services being provided: <br />Check -In <br />All participants and spectators will enter the event village <br />area through the check -in tent. All patrons must have a paid <br />ticket accompanied by a signed waiver upon entry and will <br />be given a wristband once processed. <br />A Tough Mudder HQ employee and volunteers will staff the <br />Ticket Sales/Information <br />Ticket Sales and Information tents for day -of admissions, <br />customer service 1uestions, and lost and found. <br />Bag Drop <br />Participants will be able to check their belongings at "Bag <br />Drop" for a $10 fee. <br />Food & Beverage <br />There will be a variety of food and non-alcoholic beverages <br />for sale to all event attendees. There will also be beer for sale <br />in the designated beer garden for those 21+. <br />Merchandise <br />Our retail partner will have a tent setup with Tough Mudder <br />apparel for sale. <br />Giveaways <br />Upon crossing the finish line, participants will receive a <br />number of giveaways such as product samples, t-shirt, and <br />headband. <br />Partner Activations <br />Within Mudder Village, there will be a number of features <br />sponsored by our local and national partners. <br />Rinse Stations <br />A rinse area will be available to wash off mud once the <br />course is complete. <br />Entertainment <br />Music will be played throughout Mudder Village via iPod for <br />the duration of the event. There will also be an emcee at the <br />Start Line and Finish Line. <br />*A full Mudder Village map has been provided separately. <br />Page 9 of 13 <br />
