Hugo City Council Meeting Minutes for June 4, 2018 <br />Page 2 of 4 <br />Approve Annual Performance Review for Utility Billing Clerk Jodie Guareschi <br />Since June 17, 2002, Jodie has worked as the City's Utility Billing Clerk in the Finance <br />Department. Jodie also works as a member of the Hugo Fire Department as a firefighter/EMS <br />responder. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the annual performance review for Utility <br />Billing Clerk Jodie Guareschi. <br />Approve Annual Performance Review for Public Works Worker Tom Smith <br />Tom Smith was hired by the City of Hugo on June 26, 2000 as a Worker in Public Works <br />Department. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the annual performance review for <br />Public Works Worker Tom Smith. <br />Approve Hiring of Pierre Giguere as Community Development Intern <br />On May 16, 2018, staff interviewed six applicants for the Community Development Intern <br />position. The position would assist the Community Development Department on a wide variety of <br />planning and zoning related items over a six month period. The position would also coordinate <br />with other departments as needed. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the hiring of Pierre <br />Giguere as the Community Development Intern. <br />Approve Pay Request No.1 to Diverse Construction Services for Fire Hall Roof <br />The City received Pay Request No. 1 for work completed to date on the Fire Hall roof. <br />Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the Pay Request to Diverse Construction in the <br />amount of $63,620.06. <br />Approve Resignation of Adam Sauerwein from the Fire Department <br />Adam Sauerwein had submitted his resignation from the Hugo Fire Department due to his <br />relocation outside of Hugo. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the resignation of Adam <br />Sauerwein. <br />Approve Wetland Replacement Plan for Oneka Place Residential Development <br />Len Pratt (CPDC Pratt Oakwood LLP.) was proposing to develop the 120-acre parcel formerly <br />known as the Leroux Parcel to include 177 single family homes. The development would be <br />known as Oneka Place. To accommodate this development, the applicant proposed to impact <br />0.91 acres of wetland. The remaining wetland on the property was not proposed to be impacted <br />and the eastern 40 acres of the parcel, which contains a significant number of wetlands, would be <br />dedicated to the City. Mr. Pratt had proposed to replace the impacts to these wetland basins <br />through the purchase of wetland credits from an approved wetland bank. The requirements under <br />the MN Wetland Conservation Act (WCA) had been met. Adoption of the Consent Agenda <br />approved the Oneka Place wetland replacement plans. <br />
