Approval of the Consent Agenda Hass made motion, Miron seconded, to approve the following Consent Agenda: 1. Approve Claims Roster 2. Approve Special Event Permit for Tough Mudder at Wild Wings July 14 and 15, 2018 3. Approve Temporary Liquor License for the North Star Gay Rodeo 4. Approve Pay Request No. 2 to Diverse Construction Services for the Fire Hall Roof All Ayes. Motion carried. Approve Claims Roster Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the Claims Roster as presented. Approve Special Event Permit for Tough Mudder at Wild Wines July 14 and 15,2018 Tough Mudder had applied for a Special Event Permit to hold the Tough Mudder at Wild Wings Game Farm, 14814 Irish Avenue North, on the weekend of July 14th and 15th. This event required a Special Event Permit approved by Council because there will be approximately 10,000 run participants plus spectators, impacts to public streets,use of an amplified sound system, and alcohol served. Participants run a 10-12 mile course with approximately 20 obstacles throughout the Wild Wings Game Farm. Additionally, this year there will be a 5K course. This is the third year the Tough Mudder has been in Hugo. A Friday event was held last year, but will not be held this year. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the Special Event Permit for the Tough Mudder subject to the conditions in the staff memo. Approve Temporary Liquor License for the North Star Gay Rodeo MN North Star Gay Rodeo Association(NSGRA) had applied for a Temporary On-Sale Liquor License to serve alcohol at their event on July 28-29, 2018. NSGRA is a non-profit located in Minneapolis that had held this event for several years. The area where alcohol will be served will be surrounded by a fence, and two Washington County Deputies will be present. The applicant had paid the license fee and submitted proof of Liquor Liability Insurance. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the Temporary Liquor License for the North Star Gay Rodeo. Approve Pav Request No. 2 to Diverse Construction Services, LLC for the Fire Hall Roof Diverse Construction Services, LLC, had submitted Pay Request No. 2 for work done to date on the replacement of the Fire Hall roof and rooftop equipment. The work had been reviewed by Building Official Chuck Preisler who recommended Council approve the pay request. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved Pay Request No. 2 in the amount of$88,557.39.
