I.1 Approve Appointments of Hopkin's Schoolhouse Committee Members <br />At its July 2, 2018 meeting, Council approve the formation of a committee to work on issues <br />related to the Hopkin's schoolhouse, specifically to proceed with a grant application to put the <br />structure on the Historical Register while exploring private public partnerships. The seven - <br />member committee is to be made up of one member of each of the commissions, a staff member, <br />and two residents. Each commission has selected a member and staff continues to work on <br />finding another resident to serve. Staff recommends Council select a council member to be on <br />the committee and appoint of EDA Commissioner Cindy Petty, Parks Commissioner Cathy <br />Arcand, Historical Commissioner Cynthia Schoonover, Planning Commissioner Matthew Derr <br />and resident Lynette Anderson, and one more resident yet to be determined to the Hopkins <br />Schoolhouse Committee. <br />J.1 Concept Plan for Frenchman Lofts <br />MWF Properties has proposed to develop a three story, 45-unit multifamily apartment complex <br />with both surface and underground parking upon an 18 acre parcel. The 18 acre parcel is located <br />northeast of Festival Foods within Frenchman Place. At their July 26th, 2018 meeting, Planning <br />Commission provided comments and feedback on the submitted concept plan. The applicant has <br />agreed to address comments made at the July 26th meeting. Staff recommends that the City <br />Council provide comments and feedback on the Frenchman Lofts concept plan. <br />L.1 Yellow Ribbon Network Report <br />Council Member Chuck Haas and Council Member Phil Klein will report to Council on the Yellow <br />Ribbon Network activities held recently. <br />M.1 TGK Automotive Groundbreaking Ceremony on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 <br />TGK Automotive Specialists and Sullivan Day Construction has invited the Council to the <br />Groundbreaking Ceremony for TGK's new headquarters to be located at 13891 Forest Boulevard <br />North (former End Zone property). The ceremony will take place on Tuesday, August 7, 2108 at <br />9 a.m. Staff has posted this as a meeting if the Council would like to attend. <br />M.2 National Night Out Tuesday, August 7, 2018 <br />Council has scheduled a meeting to attend National Night Out events on Tuesday, August 7, <br />2018. Staff will be providing Council a list of neighborhood events. <br />M.3 Lions Community Scramble Golf and YRN Fundraiser on Sunday, August 12, 2018 <br />The Hugo Lions Club is sponsoring a Community Scramble Golf event with proceeds going to <br />the Hugo Yellow Ribbon Network. The event is scheduled for Sunday, August 12, 2108 at the <br />Oneka Ridge Golf Course. Registration begins at 7 a.m. with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. <br />MA Primary Election Tuesday, August 14, 2018 <br />The State Primary Election will take place on Tuesday, August 14, 2018.
