Minutes <br />Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Commission <br />Meeting of January 17, 2018 <br />Hugo City Hall, 7:00 pm <br />Present: Roger Clarke, Mat Rauschendorfer, Nicole Schmid, Dave Strub, Ranell Tennyson <br />Absent: Cathy Moore-Arcand <br />Staff Present: Scott Anderson, Public Works Director <br />Shayla Denaway, Parks Planner <br />Debi Close, Secretary <br />Strub called the meeting to order at 7:02 pm. <br />1. Approval of Minutes from the December 20, 2017 Meeting <br />Tennyson made a motion, Clarke seconded to approve the minutes of the December 20, 2017 Parks <br />Commission meeting as presented. <br />Ayes — Clarke, Schmid, Strub, Tennyson <br />Abstained — Rauschendorfer <br />Motion carried. <br />2. Approve the 2018 Goals <br />Parks Planner Shayla Denaway presented the 2018 Goals of the Parks, Recreation and Open Space <br />Commission as drafted at the December 201h, 2017 meeting. <br />The goals were focused on trails, Irish Avenue Park, Lions Park, recreation programs, and plans/policies. <br />Tennyson made a motion, Clarke seconded to approve the 2018 Parks, Recreation, and Open Space <br />Commission goals as drafted. <br />All Ayes.
