The plan shows stormwater
ponding areas, a passive park, sidewalk/trail connections, and road connections. The developer is proposing
to dedicate the 43 acre "Outlot J" allocating an area set aside for a future park on the east side of the
development. Outlot J includes 20.9 acres of buildable land which exceeds the 9 acres required.
Dave Hempel from Westwood Professional Services discussed Oneka Place with the Parks Commission.
Commissioner Strub requested that the trails be installed early on in the project to reduce conflicts with
homeowners that live near them, especially with the two trail connections to the park area which are along
side yards.
Parks Commission Minutes
May 16, 2018
