L.1 Update on the Yellow Ribbon Network <br />Council Member Chuck Haas and Phil Klein will report to Council on the Yellow Ribbon <br />Network activities held recently. <br />M.1 Xcel Energy Training Town Grand Opening Wednesday, October 17, 2018 <br />Council has scheduled a meeting to attend the Xcel Energy Training Town Grand Opening on <br />Wednesday, October 17, 2018 from 1-3 p.m. <br />M.2 Lions Park Grand Opening Wednesday, October 17, 2018 <br />Council has scheduled the Grand Opening of Lions Park for Wednesday, October 17, 2018, at <br />6:00 p.m. to celebrate the completion of the installation of new playground equipment. <br />M.3 Historical Commission Those Were the Days Event Monday, October 22, 2018 <br />The Historical Commission is holding a "Those Were the Days" event on Monday, October 22, <br />2108, from 5:30 — 8 p.m. The Commission is inviting the public to bring albums, photos, <br />documents, and artifacts to City Hall. There will also be historical displays and artifacts out for <br />viewing. Staff recommends Council schedule as a meeting if they wish to attend. <br />MA Schedule Board of Canvass for Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at 3:30 p.m. <br />General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2018, and the results of the voting need <br />to be certified by the City Council acting as the Board of Canvass. The meeting needs to be held <br />between 3rd and 1 Oth day following the election. Staff recommends Council schedule the Board <br />of Canvass for Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at 3:30 p.m. <br />M.5 Thank You for your Service Celebration Friday, November 16, 2018 <br />A celebration is being held at the Hugo American Legion Banquet Hall on Friday, November 16, <br />2018, from 7-10 p.m. to honor the military, firefighters, police officers, non-profit organizations <br />and volunteers in the community. Staff recommends Council schedule the "Thank You for Your <br />Service" celebration as a meeting if they wish to attend. <br />
