From Task Force Spartan: I am writing this email on behalf of the Soldiers in
the companies of the Division Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion,
34th Infantry Division.
To the delight of our Soldiers, we have received your numerous care
packages and well wishes. A heartfelt THANK YOU to the Hugo Yellow
Ribbon Network and all of the gracious volunteers and donors who made
these packages possible.
Our Soldiers are excited to receive and look through boxes, share the
goodies, and have a connection with home here in the desert. Your
generosity is overwhelming and has lifted the spirits of our Soldiers as we
continue our mission here in the Middle East. Happy Holidays to all of you.
With Deepest Gratitude, SFC Kristin, S1 NCOIC, 34th ID, Task Force Spartan
From Kuwait: Yellow Ribbon Network Superstars: You totally surprised me
today. We are a 24 hr shop and never close (like that LL Bean store in
Freeport!) so we run on caffeine and sugar - both of which you sent us in
spades. Thank you so much for all of your support this year! Happy Holidays
to you all and I cannot thank you enough for the awesome care package we
got from you! LT Cami, US Navy
From Camp Buehring, Kuwait: As I look at the picture, and then read your
words I could not be more thankful for what you guys have done for us and
our Soldiers. I am not sure what motivates your drive or what steers your
compass, but whatever it is, we are forever grateful for you and your team.
As we get items from you, we usually have the opportunity to forward them
on to Soldiers in other AO's which we operate and we cannot get enough
good words sent back to us from those Soldiers. Just today we received the
