In order to achieve these goals, it is anticipated the City will need to implement the <br />following actions: <br />a) Retrofit existing BMPs to enhance removal in areas tributary to Bald <br />Eagle Lake <br />Existing BMPs that are in place for areas tributary to Bald Eagle Lake <br />could be retrofitted to enhance their removal capabilities either through <br />increasing storm water storage enhanced infiltration, or providing <br />flocculation treatment. The Bald Eagle Lake TMDL has assigned an <br />allowable target load for phosphorus leaving the City of 468 pounds <br />annually. This would require the City of Hugo to reduce future <br />phosphorus loadings to the lake by 287 pounds. <br />b) Implement infiltration and other BMPs to allow for no increase in <br />pollutant load from developing areas <br />c) Implement new BMPs in development and redevelopment to reduce load <br />to targeted levels <br />CIP for Storm Water Projects Within the City of Hugo <br />City of Hugo, MN <br />WSB Project No. 1687-85 <br />Page 9 <br />
