Effective April 28, 2015 Chapter Four Subsurface Sewage Treatment System Regulations <br />(8) Perforated laterals must not be installed closer than 12 inches from the edges of the absorption bed <br />and perforated laterals must terminate no closer than 12 inches from the ends of the absorption bed. <br />(9) Pressure distribution ceanouts must be provided to check the system for proper operation and <br />cleaning of plugged perforations. Cleanouts must be accessible from final grade. <br />(10) Existing systems with gravity distribution which are retrofitted with an advanced treatment device <br />meeting treatment level A or B in Minnesota Rules 7083.4030, must monitor the system to <br />determine the presence of even distribution over the absorption area.
