Water quality <br />data can be obtained from the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) <br />Environmental Data. This database is utilized by participating agencies to compile water <br />quality testing data and is almost entirely used for the storage of water quality <br />parameters. <br />2.6.2. Impaired Waters <br />The MPCA is required to publish a list of impaired waters. These are lakes and streams <br />in the state that are not meeting federal water quality standards.
