Hugo City Council Meeting Minutes for March 4,2019 <br /> Page 8 of 9 <br /> Miron made motion, Klein seconded, to direct staff to bring the ordinance on residential facilities <br /> to the ordinance review committee. <br /> All Ayes. Motion carried. <br /> Update on the Yellow Ribbon Network <br /> Council Members Haas and Klein updated the Council on the activities of the Yellow Ribbon <br /> Network to date. There were 146 burger meals served at the last Burger Night sponsored by the <br /> Bald Eagle Sportsman's Club. March's sponsors will be the Arcand Family/Oneka Ridge Golf <br /> Course. In the month of February, the YRN helped a family with plumbing problems and a <br /> family that needed appliance repair. The network worked with the White Bear Lake Auxiliary to <br /> help a Gold Star widow, and they assisted a mother who needed to leave an abusive situation. <br /> Haas thanked JDog Junk Removal for helping furnish the home. They partnered with Good <br /> Shepherds to provide postage for care packages and assisted in supporting an airman who needed <br /> a new furnace. They received several"thank you"notes for care packages and donations <br /> provided by Centennial Hockey, Xcel Energy, Hugo Legion, and other anonymous donators. <br /> "Those Were The Days" Historical Commission Event on Thursday, March 14, 2019 <br /> City Administrator Bryan Bear announced the Hugo Historical Commission will hold another <br /> "Those Were the Days" event on March 14, 2019, from 5:30— 8 p.m. A similar event was held in <br /> October 2018. The Commission will have collected items on display and invited the public to bring <br /> in albums, photo, documents or any other artifacts in. The event will be held in the Oneka Room, <br /> and the Council is invited to attend. <br /> Hugo Good Neighbors Food Shelf Pasta Dinner on Friday,March 22, 2019 <br /> City Administrator Bryan Bear informed Council the Hugo Good Neighbors Food Shelf will hold <br /> their 8a'Annual Pasta Dinner on Friday, March 22, 2019, from 6-9 p.m. at the Hugo American <br /> Legion. This is a fundraiser to help feed over 175 families per month in the Hugo, Centerville, Lino <br /> Lakes, and White Bear Lake Area. <br /> Miron made motion, Klein seconded, to schedule a meeting to attend the Hugo Good Neighbors <br /> Food Shelf Pasta Dinner on Friday, March 22, 2019. <br /> All Ayes. Motion carried. <br /> Hugo and Oneka PTA Adult Game Night on Friday, March 29, 2019 <br /> City Administrator Bryan Bear informed Council the Hugo Elementary and Oneka Elementary <br /> School PTA was hosting a Game Night for adults 21 years and older. This event will take place <br /> on March 29, 2019, from 6-10:30 p.m. at the Hugo American Legion. <br /> Klein made motion, Miron seconded, to schedule a meeting to attend Game Night on Friday, <br /> March 29, 2019. <br /> All Ayes.
