No. 2314 <br />03/11/2019 Authored by Fischer and Dettmer <br />The bill was read for the first time and referred to the Committee on Ways and Means <br />1.1 A bill for an act <br />1.2 relating to water; providing spending and reporting requirements for Rice Creek <br />1.3 Watershed District; proposing coding for new law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter <br />1.4 103D. <br />1.5 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br />1.6 Section 1. 1103D.9511 RICE CREEK WATERSHED DISTRICT. <br />1.7 For projects authorized under this chapter and chapters 103B and 103E that the Rice <br />1.8 Creek Watershed District undertakes, a minimum of 90 percent of the money collected in <br />1.9 Washington County throw special assessments and ad valorem taxes must be spent on <br />1.10 projects in Washington County. The Rice Creek Watershed District must annually report <br />t. t 1 to the Washington County Board of Commissioners the amount of money the district <br />1.12 collected in Washington County through special assessments and ad valorem taxes and the <br />1.13 amount spent on projects undertaken in Washington County in the preceding year. <br />1.14 EFFECTIVE DATE.
