Approval of Minutes from the January 16, 2019 Meeting <br /> Schmid made a motion, Rauschendorfer seconded to approve the minutes of the January 16, 2019 Parks <br /> Commission meeting. <br /> Ayes-Mat Rauschendorfer, Nicole Schmid, Dave Strub,Ranell Tennyson <br /> Abstained-Shawn Haag,Cathy Moore—Arcand <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 2. The Meadows at Hugo Sketch Plan <br /> Shayla Denaway, Parks Planner,reviewed the sketch plan from Golden Valley Land Company for"The <br /> Meadows at Hugo'. The sketch plan is for 84 residential lots on 33.41 acres located north of 159th Street and <br /> West of Highway 61. The developer is not proposing to dedicate land and the fee would be$201,600. The <br /> developer proposed that the City build a street on the adjacent city-owned property to provide access the <br /> development. <br /> The Parks Commission discussed that Frog Hollow would serve the park needs of the neighborhood. They <br /> also discussed that a future park could go on either city owned property or be built with future development <br /> to the north. The Commission generally agreed that payment of a park dedication fee was preferred over <br /> dedication of land and trying to locate a small park in this development.
