Director Scott Anderson recommends approval of the annual performance review for Parks <br />Planner Shayla Denaway <br />H.3 Approve Renewal of 2 a.m. License for the Blue Heron Grill <br />Since May 2010, the Blue Heron Grill has held a license that permits the establishment to stay <br />open until 2 a.m. This license is renewed annually with approval by the City Council. Staff <br />recommends Council approve the renewal of the 2 a.m. license for the Blue Heron Grill. <br />HA Approve Renewal of 2 a.m. License for Sal's Angus Grill <br />Since May 2010, Sal's Angus Grill has held a license that permits the establishment to stay open <br />until 2 a.m. This license is renewed annually with approval by the City Council. Staff <br />recommends Council approve the renewal of the 2 a.m. license for Sal's Angus Grill. <br />H.5 Approve Hiring of Public Works Seasonal Employees <br />In the 2019 General Fund Budget, Council approved funding for six seasonal employee positions. <br />Staff has spoken to several employees from last year who would like to return again this year. One <br />of the positions is filled by two employees each working part time. Therefore, a total of seven <br />employees are needed to fill the six seasonal positions. Seasonal Public Works Employees assist <br />with mowing, garbage/litter removal, park maintenance, boulevard maintenance and general public <br />works maintenance. Staff recommends Council approve the hire/re-hire of seasonal employees Jack <br />Menne, Roland Guareschi, Marty Schwartz, Frank Weiss, Daniel Flaherty, Paxton Zirpel, and <br />Zachary Kenoyer for the public works department. <br />H.6 Approve Temporary On -sale Liquor License for the Lions Club for Good Neighbor Days <br />The Hugo Lions Club has applied for a temporary on -sale liquor license to serve beer and Bloody <br />Marys at the Hugo Good Neighbor Days festival June 6-9, 2019. Staff recommends Council <br />approve the temporary on -sale liquor license for Good Neighbor Days. <br />H.7 Approve Off -Site Gambling Permit for Hugo Legion for Good Neighbor Days Bingo <br />The Hugo American Legion has applied for an Off -Site Gambling Permit to conduct Bingo at <br />Hugo Good Neighbor days on June 6-9, 2019, at Lions Park. Staff recommends Council approve <br />the Off -Site Gambling Permit for Good Neighbor Days. <br />H.8 Approve Resolution for Planned Unit Development (PUD) Amendment for Adelaide <br />Landing <br />OP5 Adelaide (Excelsior Group) is requesting approval of a PUD Amendment to change the 70- <br />foot wide single family lots to 65-foot wide single family lots. With the proposed PUD <br />amendment and the previous PUD modifications, their total proposed lots would be 324, where <br />319 was approved with the original PUD request. The PUD amendment is consistent with the <br />City's Comprehensive Plan and the approved Adelaide Landing PUD. The Planning Commission <br />agreed that the proposed amendment was reasonable and it would not noticeably change the <br />overall plan for the PUD.
