Minutes <br /> Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Commission <br /> Meeting of April 17, 2019 <br /> Hugo City Hall, 7:00 pm <br /> Present: Dave Strub,Shawn Haag,Cathy Moore—Arcand, Roger Clarke, Mat Rauschendorfer, Nicole Schmid, <br /> Ranell Tennyson <br /> Staff Present: Rachel Juba, Community Development Director <br /> Shayla Denaway, Parks Planner <br /> Debi Close,Secretary <br /> Strub called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. <br /> 1. Approval of Minutes from the March 20, 2019 Meeting <br /> Moore-Arcand made a motion, Haag seconded to approve the minutes of the March 20, 2019 Parks <br /> Commission meeting. <br /> All Aye. Motion Carried. <br /> 2. Adelaide Landing park Plan <br /> Shayla Denaway, Parks Planner, presented two site plans for the future park at Adelaide Landing for open <br /> floor discussion. <br /> Discussion included: <br /> Parking, Power line easement,greenspace,traffic,soccer field,sidewalk,water reuse, ballfield,trail <br /> connection, picnic shelter, lighting, landscaping buffer for neighbors, cost estimates, partnership, playground, <br /> pickle ball/basketball courts. <br /> Commissioners generally preferred the circular parking lot but wished to reconfigure the features to distance <br /> them from the residential lots. <br /> Tennyson made a motion, Moore-Arcand seconded to accept the cost estimates for the future park in <br /> Adelaide Landing and to continue the partnership with Excelsior Group and reduce future park dedication in <br /> exchange for work done in the park. <br /> Page 1 of 3 <br /> Parks Commission Minutes <br /> April 17,2019 <br />
