Hugo City Council Meeting Minutes for May 6, 2019 <br />Page 8 of 9 <br /> <br />13, 2019, to evaluate options for funding of improvements to community parks such as Lions <br />Park, Irish Avenue Park, and Clearwater Creek Preserve Park. The workshop will be held in the <br />City Hall Council Chambers at 7 p.m. <br /> <br />th <br />130 Street Neighborhood Meeting on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 <br /> <br />th <br />City Administrator Bryan Bear informed Council a meeting with residents in the 130 Street <br />neighborhood had been scheduled for Tuesday, May 14, 2019, to discuss the roundabout and street <br />improvements. The meeting will be held in the Council Chambers at City Hall from 7-8 p.m. <br /> <br />Miron made motion, Klein seconded, to schedule a meeting to attend the neighborhood meeting <br />on Tuesday, May 14, 2019. <br /> <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Law Enforcement Memorial Day on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 <br /> <br />City Administrator Bryan Bear reminded Council a meeting was scheduled to attend the Law <br />Enforcement Memorial Day service at the Historic Courthouse in Stillwater at noon on May 15, <br />2019. This event is hosted by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office to honor Peace Officers <br />and Correction Officers who have fallen in the line of duty. <br /> <br />Fire Department Waffle Breakfast and Ladder Truck Ribbon Cutting on Saturday, May 18, <br />2019 <br /> <br />City Administrator Bryan Bear reminded Council a meeting was scheduled to attend the Hugo <br />Fire Department’s first Waffle Breakfast on Saturday, May 18, 2019, from 8:30 – 11:30 a.m. at <br />the Hugo Fire Station. A Ribbon Cutting for the new ladder truck will take place following the <br />breakfast between noon and 12:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Celebration of Waters Edge Stormwater Reuse Project on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 <br /> <br />City Administrator Bryan Bear informed Council the Waters Edge Homeowner Association <br />would like to celebrate the second season of their stormwater reuse project and hold a ceremonial <br />“Flip the Switch” event to turn on their irrigation system and promote Phase II of the project. It <br />was suggested the event be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2019, at 3:30 p.m. Several Council <br />members stated they would not be available at that day and time and suggested it be scheduled <br />for Thursday, May 23, 2019. <br /> <br />Weidt made motion, Petryk seconded, to tentatively schedule the “Flip the Switch” event for a <br />time and date determined by staff. <br /> <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Schedule Workshop with Victor Gardens North Village HOA for Monday, June 24, 2019 <br /> <br />At its April 15, 2019, meeting, Council directed staff to schedule a meeting with the Victor <br />Gardens North Village HOA to discuss issues raised at the meeting including the roundabout, <br />traffic, and parks. City Administrator recommended Council schedule the meeting for Monday, <br /> <br />
