RESOLUTION NO.2019- <br />CITY OF HUGO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION REQUESTING WASHINGTON COUNTY RESTRICT PARKING <br />ALONG COUNTY ROAD 7 FROM INGERSOLL AVENUE TO APPROXIMATELY 730 <br />FEET SOUTHWEST OF 125TH STREET. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Hugo has received complaints of cars parking unsafely along this <br />portion of County Road 7; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Hugo has investigated the existing parking conditions along the curve <br />near Ingersoll Avenue; and <br />WHEREAS, advisory speed limits are posted for the roadway in this location due to the <br />horizontal alignment of the roadway; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Hugo has determined that due to the shoulder width and sight distance, <br />County Road 7 does not provide adequate width to safely park along the roadway; and <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Hugo, Minnesota, <br />as follows: <br />1. The City of Hugo hereby requests Washington County prohibit the parking of motor <br />vehicles along the County Road 7 from Ingersoll Avenue N to approximately 730 feet <br />southwest of 125t' Street N. <br />This resolution was adopted by the City Council of the City of Hugo on the 16a' day of <br />September, 2019, by a vote of Ayes and Nays. <br />ATTEST: <br />Michele Lindau, City Clerk <br />(seal) <br />Tom Weidt, Mayor <br />C.
