I.1 Approve Option/Purchase Agreement for City Owned Property <br />At its Tuesday, October 15, 2019, meeting the EDA was presented with a concept for the City <br />owned property across from City Hall by Tony and Michele Harmening. The Harmenings would <br />like to develop and own a steak house restaurant on the City owned property along Egg Lake and <br />asked the EDA to enter into a purchase agreement for the City owned property. The EDA agreed <br />that the concept generally met the development criteria the City has for the property and directed <br />staff to negotiate a purchase agreement with the Harmenings for City Council approval. Staff has <br />been working with the City Attorney on the option/purchase agreement. Staff recommends the <br />City Council approve the draft option/purchase agreement subject to the City Attorney review <br />and approval. <br />I.2 Proposed Property Donation - Rich Kettler <br />Rich Kettler is proposing to donate two lots, located north of 140th Street North and west of <br />Fenway Boulevard North, to the City of Hugo. Staff will present findings to the City Council at <br />the meeting. Staff recommends the City Council discuss the proposed donation and recommends <br />the City Council direct staff to draft a quit claim deed to accept the property donation from Rich <br />Kettler. <br />K.1 Yellow Ribbon Network Update <br />Council Member Chuck Haas and Phil Klein will report to Council on the Yellow Ribbon <br />Network activities held recently. <br />1.1 White Bear Lake School District Election on Tuesdav, November 5, 2019 <br />The White Bear Lake School District will be holding an election on Tuesday, November 5, 2019. <br />Hugo residents in the WBL School District (ISD 624) can cast their vote at their normal polling <br />location from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Absentee voting can be done at the Headwaters Service Center <br />until Monday, November 4th at 5:00 p.m. On the ballot are three school board member seats and <br />a bond issue question. <br />1.2 Public Works Facility Workshop on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 <br />Council has scheduled a workshop for Tuesday, November 12 at 5:00 p.m. at the Rice Lake <br />Centre to discuss the space needs study performed by Oertel Architects, Ltd. Architect Jeff <br />Oertel will report the findings of the space need study and present options for an expansion of <br />the current building. <br />1.2 White Bear Chamber Legislative Reception on Tuesday, November 13, 2019 <br />The Council has scheduled a meeting to attend the White Bear Area Chamber of Commerce <br />Legislative Reception to be held Wednesday, November 13, 2019, from 5-7:30 p.m. at the Tria <br />Restaurant in North Oaks. <br />M.
