WSb <br />November 13, 2019 <br />Mr. Bryan Bear <br />City Administrator <br />City of Hugo <br />14669 Fitzgerald Avenue North <br />Hugo, MN 55038 <br />Re: 24th Avenue/Elmcrest Avenue and East Cedar Street Roadway Improvement Project <br />WSB Project No. 013907-000 <br />Dear Mr. Bear: <br />As you are aware, the City of Hugo has received inquiries regarding the development of Melody <br />Stables, which is located on the east side of Elmcrest Avenue. Since the City of Hugo is <br />intending on improving Elmcrest Avenue in 2020, it is prudent to include a bid alternate for the <br />extension of sanitary sewer and watermain to this property as we have discussed. <br />Since this is only potential project addition, we are recommending an amendment to the Joint <br />Powers Agreement with the City of Lino Lakes that would indicate all engineering invoices to <br />prepare this bid alternate will be billed to and paid for directly by the City of Hugo. All other <br />terms and conditions are to remain in effect for the duration of the agreement. <br />Thank you for the opportunity to provide comments on this project.
