In May, 2013, the City entered into a Joint Powers Agreement with the City of Roseville for
Information Technology (IT) services for City Hall, Public Works, and the Hugo Fire
Department. Hugo is a part of a group of 35 entities in what is known as Roseville's Metro I -Net
division. Metro I -Net is under the organizational control of the City of Roseville's City Manager
and City Council, and employees are the City of Roseville employees. A new organizational
structure is now being considered for Metro I -Net to be its own entity governed by a Metro I -Net
Board of Directors.
