PLANNING COMMISSION UPDATE: <br /> <br />At its April 9, 2020 regularly scheduled meeting, the Hugo Planning Commission considered the <br />site plan request to add an approximately 2,900 square footaddition on to the existing building at <br />TGK Automotive. Staff provided background and recommended approval of the requestsubject <br />to the conditions listed in the resolution. The Planning Commission agreed that the request met the <br />criteria necessary to approve the application and recommended approval of the zoning amendment <br />to the City Council. <br /> <br />2. DESCRIPTION OF REQUEST: <br /> <br />Sullivan Day Construction is requesting site plan approval on behalf of TGK Automotive for an <br />approximately 2,900 square foot addition on the existing building located at 13891 Forest <br />Boulevard North. <br /> <br />3. BACKGROUND: <br /> <br />TGK Automotive gained site plan approval in 2018 for an 11,337 square foot auto repair building <br />located at 13891 Forest Boulevard North. The building was designed to accommodate a future <br />expansion. The property was previously zoned Neighborhood Service (NS) and was rezoned to <br />General Business (C-2) at that time. Approval of the rezoning request was contingent on proper <br />transitions between the land uses and that the impact on the surrounding residential properties is <br />minimized. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
