BACKGROUND MEMO FOR THE CITY COUNCIL MEETING ON MAY 4. 2020 <br />D.1 Minutes for the April 20, 2020, City Council Meeting <br />Staff recommends Council approve the minutes for the Council meeting held on April 20, 2020, <br />as presented. <br />F.1 Update on COVID-19 City Response <br />City Administrator Bryan Bear will provide an update on how the city is responding to the <br />coronavirus pandemic. <br />G.1 Approve Claims Roster <br />Staff recommends Council approve the Claims Roster as presented. <br />G.2 Approve Annual Performance Review for Parks Planner Shavla Denaway <br />Shayla Denaway was hired on May 11, 2009, as the Economic Development/Parks Intern. On <br />May 3, 2010, Council approved promoting Shayla as the new Parks Planner. Public Works <br />Director Scott Anderson recommends approval of the annual performance review for Parks <br />Planner Shayla Denaway <br />G.3 Approve Renewal of 2 a.m. License for the Blue Heron Grill <br />Since May 2010, the Blue Heron Grill has held a license that permits the establishment to stay <br />open until 2 a.m. This license is renewed annually with approval by the City Council. Staff <br />recommends Council approve the renewal of the 2 a.m. license for the Blue Heron Grill. <br />GA Approve Renewal of 2 a.m. License for Sal's Angus Grill <br />Since May 2010, Sal's Angus Grill has held a license that permits the establishment to stay open <br />until 2 a.m. This license is renewed annually with approval by the City Council. Staff <br />recommends Council approve the renewal of the 2 a.m. license for Sal's Angus Grill. <br />G.5 Approval of a Culvert Maintenance Agreement between the Rice Creek Watershed <br />District and the City of Hugo — Adelaide 5th Addition <br />As part of the Adelaide Landing 5th Addition, a culvert crossing is proposed at a private drainage <br />channel where a new roadway is proposed to cross the drainage channel. The City of Hugo will <br />be required to inspect and maintain this culvert as outlined in the attached agreement. Staff <br />recommends Council approve the Culvert Maintenance Agreement for Adelaide 5th Addition <br />G.6 Approval of a Culvert Maintenance Agreement between the Rice Creek Watershed <br />District and the City of Hugo — Elmcrest Avenue <br />As part of the Elmcrest Avenue Improvement Project, a culvert crossing is proposed to be <br />replaced at the historical elevation where Judicial Ditch 3 crosses Elmcrest Avenue.
