Staff recommends Council approve the temporary <br />liquor license for the Hugo Lions Club for the Wilson Tool Picnic. <br /> <br />G.6 Approve resolution for Variance Request for Pamela Oman at 6900 170th Street North <br />from the Shoreland District Setback Requirements <br /> <br />Pamela Oman, 6900 170th Street North, is requesting a variance from the Shoreland District <br />setback requirements for a proposed house addition. The request is to allow a house addition to <br />be setback 80 feet from the ordinary high water (OHW) mark of Horseshoe Lake, where 200 feet <br />is required by the Shoreland District of the City Code. At its June 13, 2019 meeting, the Board <br />considered the variance request and held a public hearing. Staff provided background on the <br />request and recommended approval. Jerold Philipson, Pamela Oman’s husband, shared his <br />reasons for the variance request at the public hearing. The Board agreed that the request met the <br />criteria necessary to approve the variance and recommended approval of the resolution for the <br />variance request to the City Council. <br /> <br />G.7 Approve Reduction in Letter of Credit and Cash Escrow for Oneka Place <br /> <br />Oneka Place has had significant work completed to date, and the developer is requesting a <br />reduction in the letter of credit and cash escrow. The current letter of credit and cash escrow is in <br />the amount of $1,733,036. Staff has inspected the work completed to date and recommends <br />reducing the letter of credit by $214,124.73 and the cash escrow by $318,030.27 based on the <br />value of the work remaining to be completed. The remaining value of the combined letter of <br />credit and the cash escrow will be in the amount of $1,200,881. Staff recommends Council <br />approve the reduction in letter of credit and cash escrow for Oneka Place <br /> <br />G.8 Approve Reduction in Letter of Credit for Preserves at Sunset Lake <br /> <br />The Preserve on Sunset Lake has had significant work completed to date, and the developer is <br />requesting a reduction in the letter of credit. The current letter of credit is in the amount of <br />$320,000. Staff has inspected the work completed to date and recommends reducing the letter of <br />credit by $256,727.60. The remaining value of the letter of credit will be in the amount of <br />$63,724.40, 10% of the original value. Staff recommends Council approve the reduction in the <br />letter of credit for The Preserve on Sunset Lake. <br /> <br />L.1 Update on the Yellow Ribbon Network <br /> <br />Council Member Chuck Haas and Phil Klein will report to Council on the Yellow Ribbon <br />Network activities held recently. <br /> <br />M.1 Victor Gardens HOA Meeting on Monday, July 8, 2019 <br /> <br />The Council has scheduled a meeting with the Victor Gardens HOA for Monday, July 8, 2016 in <br />the Oneka Room. <br /> <br />N.
