Hugo City Council Meeting Minutes for June 15, 2020 <br />Page 5 of 5 <br /> <br /> <br />Weidt made motion, Klein seconded, to schedule a joint workshop for Monday, June 29, 2020, at <br />7 p.m. <br /> <br />Roll call vote – all ayes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Update on the Yellow Ribbon Network <br /> <br />Council Member Phil Klein reported to Council on the Yellow Ribbon Network activities held <br />recently. Haas talked about the certificate of appreciation they received from the National Guard <br />for serving meals to those helping with the civil disturbances, and he showed pictures. He also <br />had pictures of those receiving care packages and slippers hand-knit by a Korean War veteran. <br />The YRN helped a couple who was in transition and received a thank you from a family who <br />received some financial assistance. The YRN was providing support to soldiers at Camp Ripley <br />who will be deployed next month. A $5,000 check was received from the White Bear Lions <br />Club. Hass noted that it was the fourth donation they had made. Klein provided a reminder that <br />Burger Night was cancelled. <br /> <br />City Administrator Performance Review on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 <br /> <br />The Council had scheduled the annual performance review for City Administrator Bryan Bear <br />for Tuesday, June 16, 2020, at 3 p.m. Bear asked the Council to discuss how they would like to <br />hold this meeting. Council agreed to hold the meeting remotely. <br /> <br />Neighborhood Meeting on New Public Works Facility on Thursday, June 18, 2020 <br /> <br />City Administrator Bryan Bear reminded Council a neighborhood meeting would be held <br />remotely on Thursday, June 18, 2020, at 7 p.m. with the Irish Avenue area residents to review <br />and comment on the proposed plans for the new Public Works facility. <br /> <br />Adjournment <br /> <br />Klein made motion, Petryk seconded, to adjourn at 8:03 p.m. <br /> <br />Roll call vote – all ayes.
