An alternative to this was "share the road" signage. <br /> Option 2 between Geneva Avenue North and Egg Lake Road was an 8' wide separated bituminous trail <br /> between with a 5'wide boulevard buffer between the trail and roadway. An alternative to this was a 10' <br /> wide boardwalk in lieu of a trail. <br /> Open floor discussion included: Costs larger than concept and need, minimalize wetland impacts with one <br /> side use, roadway striping/signage and drivers crossing lane lines. <br /> Bob Rogers, at 14491 Glenbrook Avenue North, gave feedback that if a route through the neighborhood was <br /> considered, pedestrians would continue to use Goodview. He was in favor of one side of Goodview having a <br /> trail and/or street painting. He asked if a roadway less than 12' wide was ever considered. <br /> Scott Anderson, Public Works Director informed that State Aid Standards need to be followed. <br /> Strub made a motion,Tennyson seconded to approve option 2 to be drafted at a 30%level of design with <br /> WSB. <br /> Ayes: Roger Clarke, Shawn Haag, Mat Rauschedorfer, Nicole Schmid, Dave Strub, Ranell Tennyson <br /> Motion passed. <br /> 3. Adelaide Larding Future Park Name. <br /> Denaway updated on the construction of the new park in Adelaide Landing. Irrigation, landscaping and <br /> seeding starts in two weeks. The shelter and playground installation will begin after Labor Day. Input and <br /> ideas from residents have been collected on what to name the new park. <br /> Strub made a motion, Schmid seconded to approve the new park to be named Adelaide Landing Park. <br /> Ayes: Roger Clarke, Shawn Haag, Mat Rauschendorfer, Nicole Schmid, Dave Strub, Ranell Tennyson. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 4. Lions Park Design Development <br /> Denaway updated that the City Council approved the Feasibility Study and Master Plan at their July 20, 2020 <br /> meeting. Candace Amberg, WSB Engineering provided a proposal for the design development to refine the <br /> adopted master plan to a higher detail to prepare for construction. The proposal includes a topographical <br /> survey, working with stakeholders to design the playground, and another stakeholder group to design the <br /> pavilion.
