PLANNING COMMISSION UPDATE: <br /> <br />The Planning Commission discussed the request at their October 8, 2020 regularly scheduled <br />meeting. The Commissioners generally thought the site plan was an improvement to the sketch <br />plan that was presented in 2019. The Planning Commissioner recommended approval of the ISD <br />#624 Transportation Facility site plan located at 13411 Fenway Boulevard North to the City <br />Council. <br /> <br />2. DESCRIPTION OF REQUEST: <br /> <br />ISD #624 is requesting site plan approval for a transportation facility located at 13411 Fenway <br />Boulevard North. The site plan consists of an approximately 10,600 square foot office and <br />maintenance building, employee parking, and exterior storage for buses. <br /> <br />3. CONTEXT: <br /> <br />A. Surrounding Land Use and Zoning <br /> <br />The property is zoned General Industrial (I-3) and is guided for Industrial in the 2040 Land Use <br />Plan. The properties to the north, east, and south are also zoned I-3 and are occupied by <br />industrial users. To the west of the property is the Creekview residential development which is <br />zoned PUD. The property is located within the Bald Eagle Industrial Park. <br /> <br />
