BACKGROUND MEMO FOR THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />MONDAY, OCTOBER 19, 2020 <br /> <br />D.1 Minutes for the September 30, 2020 Downtown Street Project Neighborhood Meeting <br />D.2 Minutes for the October 5, 2020 City Council Meeting <br />D.3 Minutes for the October 7, 2020 Arcand Park Grand Opening <br />D.4 Minutes for the October 12, 2020 Lions Park Community Workshop <br />D.5 Minutes for the October 14, 2020 Fire Chief Interviews <br /> <br />Staff recommends Council approve the above meeting minutes as presented. <br /> <br />F.1 Update on COVID-19 City Response <br /> <br />City Administrator Bryan Bear will provide an update on the City’s response to the COVID <br />pandemic. <br /> <br />G.1 Approve Claims Roster <br /> <br />Staff recommends Council approve the Claims Roster as presented. <br /> <br />G.2 Approve Annual Performance Review for Finance Coordinator Anna Wobse <br /> <br />Anna Wobse was hired as the City’s Accounting Clerk on October 27, 2008, and has worked <br />under the direction of Finance Director Ron Otkin in accounts payable and payroll functions. At <br />its March 19, 2018, meeting, Council approved Anna as the new Finance Coordinator. Finance <br />Director Ron Otkin recommends Council approve the annual performance review for Finance <br />Coordinator Anna Wobse. <br /> <br />G.3 Approve of Resolution Approving Site Plan for ISD #624 Transportation Facility <br />Located at 13411 Fenway Boulevard North <br /> <br />ISD #624 has applied for site plan approval for a transportation facility to be located at 13411 <br />Fenway Boulevard North. The White Bear Lake School District gained CUP approval for <br />exterior storage exceeding the size of the principal building in 2019 for the same property. At <br />that time the applicant also applied for a sketch plan review and received comments from the <br />Planning Commission, City Council, and public. The Planning Commission reviewed the site <br />plan application at their October 8, 2020 meeting and recommended approval of the ISD #624 <br />Transportation Facility site plan located at 13411 Fenway Boulevard North to the City Council. <br /> <br />G.4 Approve Pay Voucher No. 2 for the Goodview Avenue Improvement Project <br /> <br />T.A. Schfisky & Sons, Inc. has submitted Pay Voucher No. 2 in the amount of $381,738.31 for <br />work certified through October 9, 2020, on the Goodview Avenue Improvement Project. Paving <br />has been completed, shoulder work is on-going and the striping is planned for the week of <br />October 19th. Staff recommends Council approve payment to T.A. Schifisky & Sons, Inc in the <br />amount of $381,738.31. <br /> <br /> <br />
