Motion carried. <br /> <br />Petryk made motion, Haas seconded, to appoint Weidt to serve on the Pavilion Committee, <br />Miron on the Playground Committee, and Weidt as a liaison on discussions regarding the park <br />site. <br /> <br />Roll call vote – all ayes. Motion carried. <br />  <br />Yellow Ribbon Network Update <br /> <br />Haas and Klein will reported to Council on the Yellow Ribbon Network activities held recently. <br />There was a recent hunt at Gold Meadows Club in St. Cloud and one at Wild Wings for military <br />youth. With the help of volunteers from the Highway Federal Credit Union, the YRN helped <br />move items and furnish the home of a woman moving to Minneapolis. Donated DVD’s will be <br />sent to troops in Africa. He showed pictures of Military member arriving home and of his wife, <br />Mary Kay, who shopped for special items to put in care packages. The YRN is setting up <br />another Secret Santa program. <br /> <br />Cancel November 2, 2020 Council Meeting <br /> <br />City Administrator Bryan Bear informed Council the upgrades to the Council Chambers would <br />begin the week of October 26 and take about two weeks to complete. This would include <br />complete reconfiguration of the AV backroom. There would be no or limited opportunity to film, <br />broadcast, and livestream the regular Council meeting on November 2. Staff members were <br />aware of this project and scheduled agenda items accordingly. Bear recommended Council <br />cancel the November 2, 2020, Council meeting. <br /> <br />Klein made motion, Haas seconded, to cancel the November 2, 2020, City Council meeting. <br /> <br />Roll call vote – all ayes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Schedule Board of Canvass for November 12 or 13, 2020 <br /> <br />City Administrator Bryan Bear reminded Council the General Election would be held on <br />Tuesday, November 3, 2020, and the results of the local election needed to be certified by the <br />City Council acting as the Board of Canvass. <br /> <br />Petryk made motion, Klein seconded, to schedule the Board of Canvas to meet on Thursday, <br />November 12, 2020 at 1 p.m. <br /> <br /> Roll call vote – all ayes.
