PLANNING COMMISSION UPDATE: <br /> <br />The Planning Commission discussed the request at their December 17, 2020 regularly scheduled <br />meeting. The Commissioners generally thought the applicant did a good job at incorporating the <br />addition to the existing building. The Planning Commission recommended approval of the 400 <br />square foot addition to an existing building located at 15106 Francesca Avenue North for the <br />Hugo Good Neighbors Food Shelf. <br /> <br />2. DESCRIPTION OF REQUEST: <br /> <br />The applicant, nai Architects, Inc., is requesting approval of a 400 square foot addition to an <br />existing building located at 15106 Francesca Avenue North. The owner and occupant of the site <br />is the Hugo Good Neighbors Food Shelf. The existing building on site is 1,455 square feet and <br />the proposed addition is to consist of a walk-in refrigerator and freezer along with an expansion <br />of the storage room. <br /> <br />3. CONTEXT: <br /> <br />A. Surrounding Land Use and Zoning <br /> <br />The property is zoned General Industrial (I-3) and is within the Peloquin Industrial Park. The <br />properties to the north and east are also zoned I-3 and are occupied by industrial uses. The <br />properties to the west are zoned General Industrial (I-3) and are occupied by single family
