– 3 – January 15, 2021 <br />Schedule: <br />From authorization to proceed we anticipate the following: <br />1. Construction documents 95% review – 6 weeks <br />2. Construction documents finalization – 1 to 2 weeks <br />3. City final approval to bid – 1 week <br />4. Bidding – 4 weeks <br />5. Bid review and contract negotiations – 2 weeks <br />Working from a Feb1 – Feb. 16 authorization to proceed Construction start would be <br />approximately June 1, 2021. <br />Fee Statement: <br />Proposed Fee Structure: <br />A Parks and Recreation project of this scale, with programming, predesign and <br />community engagement would typically command a fee of 9% - 14%. With the project knowns <br />and clear decision making to date we would propose this project at 10.5%. With Civil and LA <br />being under a separate contract the fee would then be 8.5%. This includes the additional work <br />required to facilitate the bidding and document distribution through a service. <br />Project Budget = $2,640,000 x .085 = $224,400 <br />Fee awarded to date = ($ 20,900) includes reimbursable expenses <br />Project Fee Request = $203,500 + reimbursable expenses <br />Phase 1 Fee <br />Task 1 $125,180 <br />Task 2 $11,000 <br />Task 3 $67,320 <br />Total Basic Services Fee $203,500 <br />Reimbursable Expenses Estimate 1.0 x Cost $1,200 <br />Total Proposed Phase 1 Fees $204,700
