BACKGROUND MEMO FOR THE CITY COUNCIL MEETING ON MARCH 1, 2021 <br /> <br />D.1 Minutes for the February 1, 2021, City Council Meeting <br />D.2 Minutes for the February 23, 2021, Lions Park Pavilion Design Workshop <br />D.3 Minutes for the February 24, 2021, Neighborhood Meeting on Downtown Street Poject <br /> <br />Staff recommends Council approve the above minutes as presented. <br /> <br />F.1 Update on COVID-19 City Response <br /> <br />City Administrator Bryan Bear will provide an update on the City’s response to the COVID-19 <br />pandemic <br /> <br />F.2 Parks Commission Annual Report <br /> <br />Parks Planner Shayla Denaway will present to Council the 2020 Parks Commission Annual <br />Report. <br /> <br />G. 1 Approve Claims Roster <br /> <br />Staff recommends Council approve the Claims Roster as presented. <br /> <br />G.2 Approve Performance Review for Building Department Secretary Debi Close <br /> <br />Debi Close was hired as the City’s Building Department Receptionist on March 20, 2006. <br />Building Official Joel Hoistad recommends Council approve the annual performance review for <br />Building Department Receptionist Debi Close. <br /> <br />G.3 Approve Performance Review for Senior Engineering Technician Liz Finnegan <br /> <br />Liz Finnegan was hired in March, 2019, as the new Senior Engineering Technician after the <br />retirement of Steve Duff in January, 2018. City Administrator Bryan Bear recommends Council <br />approve the performance review for Senior Engineering Technician Liz Finnegan. <br /> <br />G.4 Approve Property Line Adjustment for Marvin and Judith LaValle and Hugo <br />Investments. LLC (Larry Barnabo) for Properties Located at the Northwest and Southwest <br />Corners of Frenchman Road (CSAH 8) and Forest Boulevard (TH 61) <br /> <br />Marvin and Judith LaValle and Hugo Investments. LLC (Larry Barnabo) are requesting approval <br />of a property line adjustment for the properties located at the northwest and southwest corners of <br />Frenchman Road (CSAH 8) and Forest Boulevard (TH 61). The applicant is proposing to adjust <br />the common property line between the properties and combine them into two parcels. This <br />adjustment will result in Parcel A totaling 4.97 acres and Parcel B totaling 16.09 acres. Staff <br />finds that both properties are in compliance with all applicable regulations in the City Code and <br />will continue to comply after the property line adjustment. Staff recommends approval of the <br />attached resolution approving a property line adjustment for Marvin and Judith LaValle and <br />Hugo Investments, LLC (Larry Barnabo). <br />
