Regional Significance. Funds can be used for constructing or reconstructing city streets, county <br />highways, or town roads with statewide or regional significance. Our application is seeking the <br />maximum request value of $1,250,000. Staff has requested and received a letter of support from <br />Washington County for our Local Road Improvement Program Application for 147th Street. The <br />grant application is due on March 3, 2021, with the announcement of award of funds occurring in <br />May of 2021. Award of our 20121 Downtown Improvement Project contract cannot occur until <br />after the selection process has occurred. Staff recommends approval of the resolution <br />authorizing the submission of Local Road Improvement Program (LRIP) grant application for <br />147th Street Reconstruction and Extension to Oneka Parkway as part of the 2021 Downtown <br />Improvement Project. <br /> <br />I.3 Update on February 23, 2021, Lions Park Workshop <br /> <br />The Council held a workshop on February 23, 2021, to discuss the proposed design of the new <br />pavilion at Lions Park. City Administrator Bryan Bear will provide an update. <br /> <br />J.1 Approve 121st Street Development Sketch Plan <br /> <br />Drengson May Enterprises, LLC has applied for the sketch plan applicant for informal comments <br />on plans to subdivide three parcels of land to create parcels that are 1 acre or more. The plan <br />shows 10 proposed residential lots, stormwater ponding areas, streets, and utilities. The sketch <br />plan was completed to get comments from the Planning Commission, Parks Commission, and <br />City Council prior to moving forward with the formal development approval process. The <br />Planning Commission and Parks Commission reviewed the sketch plan and provided comments <br />to the applicant as outlined in the staff report. Staff recommends the City Council provide <br />informal feedback to the applicant on the sketch plan. <br /> <br />L.1 Update on Yellow Ribbon Network <br /> <br />Council Member Chuck Haas will report to Council on the Yellow Ribbon Network activities <br />held recently. <br /> <br />M.1 Schedule Board of Appeal and Equalization for Thursday, April 8, 2021 <br /> <br />Washington County would like the City to hold its Local Board of Appeals and Equalization <br />meeting on Thursday, April 8, 2021, in the Oneka Room from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. at Hugo City <br />Hall. The County has noticed this as an in-person meeting. Council may want to consider <br />holding this as a hybrid meeting. Staff recommends Council approve the date of Thursday, April <br />8, 2021 for the Local Board of Appeals and Equalization. <br /> <br /> N.1 Adjournment <br />
