<br />TRANSITION PLAN FOR METRO I-NET <br />This plan is created to guide the transition from City of Roseville Metro I-Net (RMI) to <br />Metro I-Net Joint Powers Authority (MIJPA) <br />Purpose of transition plan <br />• Allow for orderly transition of operations, personnel, and assets from RMI to <br />MIJPA <br />• Identify transition costs <br />• Create a measured pace of transition to allow for comfort of existing RMI <br />employees and RMI agencies <br />Given where we find ourselves here in 2020, during the COVID pandemic, this <br />transition plan is underpinned by the following milestones: <br />• In 2020, the framework and costs of the new MIJPA will be established and <br />agreed upon by the RMI agencies. <br /> <br />• In 2021, the MIJPA as an entity will be established, the MIJPA Board will be <br />elected and begin to meet, and the MIJPA Executive Director will be hired and <br />begin to create an institutional framework for the MIJPA <br /> <br />• In 2022, all assets and personnel will be assigned to the MIJPA <br />
