<br /> Moore-Arcand called the meeting to order at 7:04 pm.
<br /> 1. Approval of Minutes from the December 16, 2020 Meeting
<br /> Tennyson made a motion, Clarke seconded to approve the minutes of the December November 18, 2020
<br /> Parks Commission meeting.
<br /> Ayes: Cathy Moore-Arcand, Roger Clarke, Nicole Schmid, Dave Strub, Ranell Tennyson
<br /> Abstained: Mat Rauschendorfer
<br /> Motion approved.
<br /> 2. 1-ions Park Design
<br /> Matt Lynse and Liz Gutzman with HCM Architects presented the developed design for the park site,
<br /> playground and pavilion. Multiple Sub committees assisted with input to help determine proposed design
<br /> Site Plan included: off street/stall parking, playground, retaining walls, shading, concrete trail,tennis courts,
<br /> pickleball court, berm screening new skate park area, informal ballfield, bituminous trail, connectivity to
<br /> regional trail, basketball court, outdoor seating, ornamental fencing, planter boxes, High top outside bar,
<br /> picnic shelter, plumbing underground fixtures for future water future, limestone block seating, space for a
<br /> grand size holiday tree, picnic tables/benches/bench swing, possible maintenance storage shed, large gate
<br /> opening for maintenance equipment access, artificial turf, rubber play surface,sand play area, embankment
<br /> slide area, monument sign,gardens open space
<br /> Rauschendorfer asked why a fountain area was in the design with water features being removed from the
<br /> Lions Park Plan.
