Covenants that make and keep a great neighborhood - a great neighborhood. Where are the
covenants for this development? What is okay? What's not okay? What will be in my
sightline?
They have the opportunity to create a neighborhood that would fit in with the existing
neighborhoods. In my opinion, the two story walkout homes are not feasible here. I can only
guess that with all of the work that has taken place so far, and all of the work to be done, these
lots will be expensive. The young families that want the two story towers will not be able to
afford to buy the lot and build their home. Older folks, empty nesters, will be able to afford to
do this however, they do not want a big house with several sets of stairs to climb. Perhaps that
is why the developers themselves are building slab on grade one story homes. I would like to
see the new homes of this "executive" neighborhood be along the same lines as the
neighborhood that went in a few years ago on Everton. This fits with the existing, established
neighborhood.
The property that the Dregson May folks have purchased is a rare gem. They will love it here!
I would advise them to be careful, very, very, careful when they cut the facets of the gem so in
the end it is a jewel and not just a stone.
Sincerely,
Barbara Proulx
5043 - 124th Street Court North
651-238-9745
