Refer to Venue Setup and Flow for additional setup requirements. <br />2. On Route Lunch/Post-ride food <br />a. Must be offered as pre-packaged meals from third parties. Examples are pre- <br />packaged sandwiches, wraps, subs, boxed/bagged lunches. <br />b. Whole fruit. <br />c. Use only single-serve water/Electrolyte bottle/tablets. <br />d. Buffet-style serving is not permitted. <br />3. Breakfast <br />a. All meals must be offered as pre-packaged meals from third parties. <br />i. Examples are breakfast/protein bars, whole fruit. <br />b. Coffee <br />i. To prevent participants from pouring their own coffee, cambros must be <br />located at least 6 feet behind food and beverage area. <br />ii. Volunteers must be permanently grouped into a group that only pours <br />cups and a group that only places the cups on a table where participants <br />will pick them up. If a volunteer handing out cups comes in contact with a <br />participant, we do not want to cross contaminate with the pouring <br />station, they must replace their gloves and use wipes to wipe the area of <br />the body that was touched. <br />iii. Cups must be held from the bottom the avoid contact with the rim of the <br />cup by the volunteer. <br />c. Use only single-serve water/Electrolyte bottles/tablets. <br />4. On Route Rest Stop Food and Beverage <br />a. On-route nutrition at rest stops must be offered in the form of single-serve, pre- <br />packaged snacks and whole fruit. <br />b. Use only single-serve water/ Electrolyte bottles/tablets at 50% of the rest stops <br />especially those along the routes with the greater distance . <br />HYDRATION STATIONS <br />1. Use only single-serve water/Electrolyte bottles/tablets/packets. <br />a. Have a recycling plan in place and ample trash bins so participants dispose of <br />their trash immediately. <br />2. Refer to Venue Setup and Flow for additional setup requirements. <br /> <br />ACCOMODATIONS <br />1. Overnight accommodations for participants are not permitted. This includes both <br />camping and courtesy room blocks. Participants may reserve a campsite or a hotel room <br />on their own. <br />2. Staff/Volunteer Housing <br />a. Room sharing and communal housing between staff members and amongst <br />volunteers is prohibited unless shared by family members/others living in the <br />same household.
