Lions Park Site Plan Planning Commission <br />Page 5 April 8, 2021 <br />was oversized with the intent to provide stormwater treatment for Lions Park and the downtown <br />street reconstruction project. <br />The City has received grant money to construct the County Road 8 Stormwater Reuse System <br />that will reconnect irrigation systems serving 22 acres along County Road 8, Lions Park, <br />Keystone Place, Hugo Gardens, Lions Park and City Hall. The project will improve surface water <br />quality through phosphorus reduction, decreased groundwater demand and volume reduction. A <br />pump station will be installed on the existing stormwater pond on the northeast corner of <br />Frenchman Road and Oneka Parkway. Construction of the project is anticipated to be in <br />coordination with the Lions Park redevelopment. <br />5.
