Hugo City Council Meeting Minutes for September 20, 2021 <br />Page 2 of 5 <br /> <br />Recognition of Hugo Firefighter Brian Esch as Good Samaritan <br /> <br />Wyoming, MN, resident Dan Witte requested to be on the agenda to present Hugo Firefighter <br />Brian Esch with a plaque that had the Firefighters prayer inscribed on it. Witte talked about <br />how he was stranded on the side of the road and Hugo Firefighter Brian Esch stopped to assist <br />him. He praised the leadership of the City Council and Fire Department. <br /> <br />Approval of Consent Agenda <br /> <br />Petryk made motion, Klein seconded, to approve the following Consent Agenda: <br /> <br />1. Approve Claims Roster <br />2. Approve Annual Performance Review for City Clerk Michele Lindau <br />3. Approve Annual Performance Review for Public Works Worker Paul Christianson <br />4. Approve Annual Performance Review for Amber Lozier as Finance and Public <br />Works Administrative Assistant <br />5. Approve Resolution Approving Preliminary Tax Levy for 2022 <br />6. Approve the Donation to the Hugo Fire Department from the Hugo American <br />Legion <br />7. Approve Encroachment Agreement for Fence at 6175 135th Street North <br />8. Approve Payment Voucher No. 2 for the 2021 Downtown Improvement/Lions Park <br />Project <br />9. Approve Reduction in Cash Escrow for Hugo Gardens <br />10. Approve Short Term Rental Ordinance <br />11. Approve Adequate Public Facilities Ordinance <br />12. Approve Authorization for Parks Commission to Evaluate the Park Dedication Fee <br /> <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Approve Claims Roster <br /> <br />Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the Claims Roster as presented. <br /> <br />Approve Annual Performance Review for City Clerk Michele Lindau <br /> <br />Michele Lindau was hired as the new City Clerk in the City of Hugo on January 1, 2008. <br />Michele was originally hired by the City of Hugo as a part time employee in 1997 and a full <br />time employee beginning May 1, 1999. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved annual <br />performance review for City Clerk Michele Lindau. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
