May 15, 2021 PC Minutes <br />Page 3 <br />how tall the proposed trees will be and staff responded that the planted trees will be between 4 and 5 <br />feet tall. <br />Sylvia Schaetzel, 6130 150t" Street North: Schaetzel asked if there will be any guest parking and Juba <br />stated that there will be guest parking available on each individual driveway and additional parking <br />along the street. <br />Jeanne Wilke 6103 150t" Street North: Wilke asked for clarification on phasing for the development. <br />Staff stated that there will be two phases and a total of 40 units. <br />Paul Pelkola, 6113 150t" Street North: Pelkola addressed concerns about getting out to Highway 61 and <br />the additional traffic that will come with the development. Staff stated that MnDOT determines the <br />timing of the stoplights along Highway 61. <br />Chair Kleissler closed the public hearing at 7:50pm <br />The Planning Commissioners continued their discussion on the proposed development. Commissioner <br />Fry asked staff to clarify the maintenance responsibilities of a private drive. Staff stated that a private <br />drive allows the street to be narrower and flexibility on setbacks, however, the developer must <br />maintain the private drive within the development. <br />Chair Kleissler addressed the comments submitted by email to staff. Comments provided were from <br />the following residents: <br />Jeanne Molamphy, 6116 150t" Street North. <br />Tahni Cullen, 6137 1515t Street North. <br />Commissioner Luchsinger made a comment that she liked the suggestion of adding a pedestrian <br />crosswalk and Commissioner Derr stated that they liked the circular layout of the proposal. <br />Commissioner Arcand made a motion to approve the preliminary plat and PUD for Oneka Lake <br />Reserve, subject to the conditions listed in the resolution, seconded by Commissioner Mulvihill. <br />Ayes: All. Nay: None. Motion carried. <br />Adjournment <br />Commissioner Derr made a motion, Commissioner Luchsinger seconded, to adjourn at 7:58pm. <br />Ayes: All. Nay: None.
