(WSB) to the City <br />of Hugo (City) to complete professional design services for the programming and design <br />development the Lions Park playground area and park pavilion building. The intent of design <br />development is to refine the adopted master plan at a higher level of detail in preparation for the <br />final design construction documents necessary for bidding and construction, to be completed <br />following the design development stage. <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES "A" (Playground) <br />A.1. Project Start -Up Meeting: <br />i. WSB shall hold a virtual project start-up meeting with the city to review over the <br />proposed schedule, design process and develop a clear understanding of the <br />scope of the project and intended outcomes. This includes meeting preparation <br />and distribution of follow-up summary notes. <br />A.2. Playground Programming: <br />i. Steering Committee Meetinq #1: WSB shall hold a virtual meeting with the city <br />and stakeholder committee (committee members selected by the City of Hugo) to <br />brainstorm ideas and develop project goals, themes and a programming list for <br />the playground design. This includes meeting preparation and distribution of <br />follow-up summary notes. <br />A.3. Playground Design Development <br />i. Conceptual Design: WSB shall develop up to two (2) conceptual site design <br />approaches for the playground areas based on the programming goals <br />developed with the playground committee. The conceptual designs will illustrate <br />potential circulation patterns, seating areas, playground elements, and theming <br />opportunities. <br />ii. City Review Meeting: WSB shall hold a virtual meeting with the City to review the <br />conceptual site design approaches for review and feedback and make <br />modifications as necessary.
