Strub made a motion, Tennyson seconded to approve the Capital Improvement Plan as drafted during the <br />meeting. <br />All ayes. Motion carried <br />4. Adelaide Landing Future Park Playground <br />Shayla Denaway, Parks Planner gave an update on current construction of Adelaide Landing Park. <br />Construction started fall of 2019 on the parking lot. Park construction will resume in the spring of 2020. <br />Original partnership on construction cost sharing is no longer occurring but instead park dedication fees will <br />be collected from the Excelsior Group. <br />Commissioners provided input that they would like see in the playground proposals including athletic/ net <br />features like at Diamond Point Park, a zip line, a structure for a good mix of ages, but not separate <br />structure for little kids, and no exercise equipment. <br />Strub made a motion, Tennyson seconded for staff to send out request for proposals from playground <br />vendors to be presented at a neighborhood meeting on March 18, 2020. The budgeting was set at $100,000. <br />for play equipment and soft surfacing. <br />All ayes. Motion carried. <br />5.
